Julian began his music journey at a young age in Marching Band, Latin percussion and even xylophones. Julian’s love for music grew to include a background in Metal, Jazz , Progressive , Funk , ensemble music and even music production / engineering. Julian is also known for being very fast on the kit as well as hitting the drums with exclamation. He has a vast rudimental vocabulary, and is known for his chops. He currently plays in a progressive metal band named “Citadel” .

Julian’s goal as a teacher is to make his students the best drummers they can possibly be. He will focus them towards learning essential basics, rudimental and muscle memory practices as well as timing. He will also put their focus towards speed , fills and chops so they are confident in what they play and be prepared for all music genres.
